Your Session

Before, during, and after your session

What happens in a session

1

Arriving

After a brief conversation, you make yourself comfortable – either lying down or sitting. You do not need to prepare anything or share anything you do not wish to. You remain fully clothed throughout the session.

2

Letting go

I step back inwardly and follow the impulses that arise. You do not need to do, control, or force anything. Whatever emerges is allowed to be there and release at your own pace.

3

Integrating

Afterwards, there is time to notice how you feel. If you wish, we can talk about your experience. The process continues in the days that follow. Further down, you will find guidance on how to support it.

Where the sessions take place

Touch and your boundaries

You remain fully clothed throughout the session. Touch is always over your clothing and consists of gently and mindfully placing my hands on your body. I never touch intimate areas, the buttocks, or the chest area for women.

Before we begin, we will calmly discuss touch. I will explain how I work, and we will clarify whether there are any other areas of your body that you do not want me to touch.

It is essential that you feel completely safe and comfortable during this work. Please be mindful of your boundaries and tell me immediately if any touch feels uncomfortable or no longer feels right – I expressly encourage you to do so. You can decline any touch, pause the session at any time, or change your mind during the process. You do not need to explain or justify your decision; a word or brief gesture is enough.

Preparing for your session

You do not need any special knowledge or ability, nor do you need to believe or achieve anything. A few simple things can help you be fully open to the experience:

Allow enough time

Try to arrive without time pressure so you can settle in calmly.

Wear comfortable, loose clothing

Choose clothing that allows you to move freely and lie or sit comfortably. You will remain fully clothed throughout the session.

Drink enough water and eat lightly beforehand

Drink enough water before the session and choose a light meal so you can lie or sit comfortably.

Avoid alcohol and other substances

Avoid alcohol and other mind-altering substances on the day of your session.

Turn off your phone

This allows you to remain fully present with yourself during the session.

Be open to the possibility

You do not have to believe in anything – simply allow for the possibility that something can change. Your inner attitude plays a part: trust opens the process, while constant doubt and control constrict it. Your body knows the way back to balance – give it permission.

Come without fixed expectations

Every session is different. Whatever is ready to emerge will do so in its own time.

The most important thing: surrender

Your part during the session is, essentially, to do nothing. Yet we often intervene without realising it: we try to control the process, hold something back, or resist what wants to emerge.

Surrender means allowing the energy to work fully and trusting the higher intelligence that guides the process. Surrender is not something you do; it is allowing the process to unfold.

Whatever arises is welcome

Emotions may arise during the session. Your body may move, and tears, trembling, or sounds may emerge. None of this is wrong – on the contrary, it can be a sign that something is releasing. There is nothing to be ashamed of and no need to hold anything back.

A note before your session

If you are receiving medical or psychotherapeutic treatment, please continue it unchanged. This work does not replace medical or therapeutic treatment, but it can complement it. If in doubt, speak with your doctor or therapist.

After your session

The session does not end when you leave the room. The energy continues to work in the days that follow. You can picture this process as peeling an onion: in a session, the layer currently at the surface can release. Afterwards, you often feel lighter, freer, and calmer.

The space that has opened can also make you aware of what was already present beneath it. This is why new emotions or tension may surface as early as the next day and temporarily overshadow the feeling of lightness.

This does not mean that the effects of the session have disappeared or that you are back where you started. What is surfacing was already there. It is not a setback, but the next layer revealing itself. The process has its own pace, and your system releases only as much as you can handle at any given moment.

You can consciously support this process, especially during the first three days:

Give yourself time to rest

If possible, avoid planning anything strenuous or important after the session. You may need more sleep, more rest, or simply quiet – follow what your body needs. A warm bath, perhaps with a little salt, can also feel soothing.

Drink enough water and eat nourishing food

Drink water regularly in the days that follow. If you feel hungrier than usual, respond to that and choose nourishing foods. The inner work can require more energy than you are used to.

Gentle movement can help

A quiet walk in nature, gentle yoga, stretching, qigong, tai chi, or another form of gentle movement can help you feel grounded again. If possible, wait about three days before returning to intense exercise such as running or strength training, giving your body time to integrate the process calmly.

Allow emotions to continue moving through you

Further emotions may arise in the days after a session. You may feel more open or experience more vivid dreams. This is a natural part of the process: whatever emerges can now move through you, and sometimes the next layer can already be felt. This is not a setback, but a sign that the process is continuing. Allow whatever arises to flow instead of holding on to it.

Avoid other energy or bodywork for about three days

Massage, Reiki, acupuncture, chiropractic treatment, sound healing, and similar practices can be valuable – but first give your body time to anchor the energy from the session. Introducing a different energy during this period can confuse your system and disrupt the inner work. Working on others yourself is not a problem; simply avoid having anyone work on you during these days. It is also best to avoid red light therapy for the same period.

Avoid alcohol and other mind-altering substances

If possible, avoid them for two to three days so the process can continue undisturbed.

Writing can help

If you like, record your experiences and dreams in a journal – looking back often reveals what has changed.

Your attitude matters

The session opens a space that you help shape in the days that follow. Notice which thoughts, words, and actions support what is new and which lead you back into old patterns. Consciously direct your attention towards what is changing, and treat yourself with kindness along the way.
